About this event
As the concept of ESG has become more and more widely known, ESG investment has gradually entered the public’s vision. ESG investment refers to the integration of ESG concepts into investment research practice.
According to the traditional concept and popular perception, ESG is a project that requires a large amount of human costs and resource investment, but is difficult to measure in terms of output and value return. Today, however, this is not true. Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) products are increasingly being used as tools to assess the alignment of company targets and objectives with actions to support an orderly low-carbon transition.
Despite progress, challenges remain that hinder the efficacy of such approaches. These include the promulgation of frameworks, data inconsistencies, a lack of a comparable ESG criteria and rating methodologies, as well as inadequate clarity over how ESG integration affects asset allocation.
During this session, we will learn about the development trends of ESG, the value that ESG investments bring to business and how to make valuable ESG investments.

Ms. Jing Han is the Senior VP of Greater China & Northeast Asia Region Commodities, Industry & Facilities Division, Bureau Veritas. She has 26 years of senior management experience in leading global companies, including KPMG, American Express, Celanese, Ingredion and CITIC Capital spanning strategy, sales, and mergers & acquisitions in the field of energy, chemistry, food, finance and more. She also has experience in operations across the Americas, Asia Pacific and more.
Ms. Fanny Zou
Vice President of Bureau Veritas Greater China Certification Business Group
Ms. Fanny Zou is the VP of Bureau Veritas Greater China Certification business group and VP of the Shenzhen Inspection and Certification Association. She has 25 years of experience as a global leader in the TIC (Testing, inspection & certification) industry. She has worked as a senior manager and has global key account management experience working with companies such as Huawei, Tencent, China Resources Schneider, Veolia Water, Knorr, Cummins, Sony and more.
