The CEIBS Global EMBA (GEMBA) programme has been named #1 in the world in the Financial Times 2024 EMBA Ranking, marking its first ever appearance at the top of the authoritative list. Announced in the same year that CEIBS celebrates the 30th anniversary of its founding, this remarkable achievement marks CEIBS as the first business school on the Chinese mainland to reach the top spot in the FT’s international rankings. It also caps off years of sustained progress. Prior to this year, the CEIBS GEMBA programme spent four consecutive years at #2; before that, it had spent two consecutive years in the top five. This consistent performance and steady improvement highlight not only the exceptional quality of the programme, but also its unwavering commitment to excellence.

On 30 August 2024, CEIBS Global EMBA programme welcomed an audience of nearly 300 people to the inaugural event of its latest series – Building Bridges. Hosted in Shenzhen, the China and Southeast Asia Symposium was the beginning of the 12-part series’ world-spanning journey to explore what defines the business landscape between China and the rest of the world.

CEIBS Global EMBA (GEMBA) alumna, General Manager of Johnson & Johnson Vision Care China and Chairperson, DE&I (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion ) Council of Johnson & Johnson China,  Celine Chen has joined the prestigious ranks of Poets & Quants "Best & Brightest" Executive MBAs for 2024.

The Capstone Project is a definitive part of the CEIBS Global EMBA (GEMBA) experience for any student. It tests and stretches them as they put the theories, frameworks and broader knowledge they have gained during the programme into practice by solving the genuine business challenges of a real-world company. For the class of GEMBA 2022, this challenging one-year project is now at an end.

June 23, 2024. Shanghai – Hosted at the CEIBS Shanghai campus, the 3rd CEIBS Global EMBA Annual Symposium – under the title China's New Playbook: The Role of Companies – aimed to explore many of the most pressing questions on exactly how (and when) China may achieve the latest stage of its economic growth and transformation. Around 300 dynamic participants attended this event, including current students, distinguished alumni, influential business leaders, and engaged members of the public.

This weekend saw over 90 CEIBS Global EMBA students gather at the CEIBS Shanghai campus to finally enjoy the official end of their epic academic adventure together.
 

In accordance with CEIBS regulations, the Global EMBA programme department will honour two top students from each Global EMBA graduation class. The list of candidates is open to public comment until 17:00 on April 15, 2024.
