The CEIBS MBA Class of 2022 concluded their journey this weekend at a special hybrid graduation ceremony that also welcomed back alumni from the MBA 2020 and 2021 cohorts. Joined by professors, mentors and CEIBS staff, more than 100 graduates officially joined the CEIBS alumni community of more than 26,000 professionals worldwide. School leaders including CEIBS President Wang Hong, Vice President and Co-Dean Weijiong Zhang, Associate Dean and MBA Programme Director Shameen Prashantham and MBA Administration Director Michelle Zhu led the first on-campus MBA graduation ceremony since 2019.

CEIBS has once again placed in the top tier of schools in the world in the Financial Times’ annual ranking of MBA programmes released today. The school secured the #16 spot in the latest ranking, making it the only non-US/non-European school to appear in the FT’s top tier in 2022. It also marks the sixth consecutive year CEIBS has finished both in the top tier and as the top school in Asia.

The student committee for CEIBS MBA2023 was officially elected today after a closely contested election which came down to the difference of just three votes. Eight members with diverse backgrounds and experience make up the student committee this year. The SC will support the MBA2023 cohort of 120 students throughout the next 16 months in terms of study, life and career development. Here are their stories.

Representing 15 countries and regions from around the world, the current batch of student ambassadors is expected to promote CEIBS’ brand and help the school recruit the best talent by hosting information sessions, campus visits and coffee chats.

Air Liquide joined L.Y. Global, TSI and DSM as new sponsors of MBA scholarships this year, highlighting the positive trend of generosity from Chinese companies, multinationals and alumni giving back to the school.

The members of MBA 2023 have been drawn to Shanghai from 20 different countries and regions around the world, with over one third of the class originating outside China.

CEIBS’ MBA programme has retained its #1 spot in Asia in the Bloomberg BusinessWeek ranking released today. This is the second consecutive time – and fifth time overall – that the programme has claimed the top spot.
