TEDxCEIBS 2020 was broadcasted live from the Poly Grand Theatre today.

Over 100 participants joined the 2020 CEIBS Female Leadership Forum today, which explored the theme of purposeful leadership. Going virtual for the first time, this year’s forum was attended by CEIBS Assistant Professor of Management Emily David, CEIBS MBA WLN President Shefali Pathak, and senior executives from multinational companies such as eBay, TOJOY, EATON, Hape Holdings AG and Traders of Africa. The forum was co-organised by the CEIBS MBA Women’s Leadership Network (WLN) and Global Women Connect.

The CEIBS Career Development Centre continued to deliver a series of sharing sessions in June. Following events in April and May which featured October CEO Thorsten Seegers (MBA 2007) and Navozyme founder Jitesh Jaipuriyars (MBA 2010), June’s guest speakers included an industry business leader, a recent MBA2020 graduate, and a CEIBS GEMBA alumnus.

As part of CEIBS’ ongoing series of C-Suite Alumni Career Sharing Sessions, two international alumni were recently invited to share their thought and insights with the students on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As part of CEIBS’ ongoing efforts to support the career development of MBA students and alumni during the COVID-19 pandemic, the CEIBS Career Development Centre has organised a series of virtual job fairs. Following the first Shenzhen Boss Hire Virtual Presentation and Recruitment Event (Phase 1) in April, the Beijing and Ningbo Virtual Recruitment fairs and Phase 2 of Shenzhen Boss Hire have also taken place this month. These fairs received strong support from the CEIBS Alumni Association and the alumni chapters in Beijing, Ningbo and Shenzhen, respectively.

Livestreamed for the very first time in its history, INNOVATEChina 2020 was held today as MBA teams from around the world gathered online to compete for the $10,000 annual prize.
