Zheng, Xue

Prof. Michelle Xue Zheng holds the position of Associate Professor of Organisational Behaviour at CEIBS. Prior to joining CEIBS, she worked at the Erasmus Centre of Behavioural Ethics, Rotterdam School of Management.
Prof. Zheng’s research interests primarily focus on Interpersonal Dynamics, Leadership, Conflict Management, Negotiations and Decision-making. As a behavioral scientist with nearly 20 years of experience, she has long observed, studied, and inspired executives from around the world, helping them understand their own behavioral patterns and enhance their leadership and interpersonal influence. She is a member of the Academy of Management, the Society for Personality and Social Psychology, and the International Association for Conflict Management. Prof. Zheng has received the Graduate Student Travel Award from the Society for Personality and Social Psychology. Her research on trust received the Best Paper Award at the 2023 Academy of Management Annual Meeting Proceedings. Her work has been published in numerous internationally renowned academic journals, such as The Leadership Quarterly, Human Relations, the Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Social Psychological and Personality Science. Her research has also been featured in various media outlets, including Forbes, The Huffington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic, and The Boston Globe.
Prof. Zheng has supervised multiple master's and doctoral students in Singapore and the Netherlands, and has taught undergraduate and graduate courses. Her teaching areas include Organizational Behaviour, Leadership, Interpersonal Dynamics and Conflict, Negotiations and Decision-making. In 2021, she was honored by Poets & Quants as one of the "World's Best 40 Under 40 Business School Professors."
