The CEIBS Finance MBA (FMBA) Programme is CEIBS' first Shanghai-based part-time Finance MBA programme with a finance focus. Featuring financial depth, managerial breadth and technological acumen, the programme develops future leaders with a broad global vision, systematic business knowledge, exceptional strategic decision-making and leadership capabilities, and the ability to apply technology to financial and management practice.

The CEIBS FMBA "Finance × Management × Technology" curriculum treats the three dimensions as an organic whole — both the starting point and the ultimate destination of learning — and integrates them so that they reinforce one another. The two specialised tracks help students further develop a technology-driven mindset and systematically strengthen their leadership, enabling them to drive change and innovation in the integration of finance and industry. An integrative way of thinking runs through the entire curriculum, which is designed to cultivate versatile leaders truly prepared for the competition of the future.

Curriculum Structure

New specialized tracks: Technology and Leadership

Starting with the Class of 2025, the FMBA Programme will introduce two new specializations: Technology and Leadership. Each track combines compulsory and elective courses, allowing students to tailor their learning to their career aspirations.

Curriculum Structure

Technology Specialization

This track cultivates a tech-driven mindset, helping students understand and apply emerging technologies—including fintech, AI, big data, and blockchain—across industries. Students will identify tech-driven business opportunities and explore innovative, tech-enabled business models.

Leadership Specialization

Building on our Leadership Journey, this track enhances students’ leadership capabilities. Through structured self-assessment, students will identify their strengths and weaknesses while developing execution, inspiration, and motivational skills. These competencies prepare them to lead teams, drive change, address challenges, and achieve organizational goals.

This two-year programme shapes students into well-rounded leaders with a strong foundation in finance, strategic management expertise, and the ability to embrace technological innovation.
