On August 31, 2026, the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) and ESCP Business School celebrated a milestone opening ceremony for the inaugural cohort of the Global Master in Management (Global MiM) programme at the CEIBS Shanghai campus.

In this speech, student representative Yutong Dong explores the true meaning of a global mindset—moving beyond comfort zones, embracing uncertainty, and redefining what it means to study across four dynamic global cities (Shanghai, Paris, London, and Zurich).

🔹 Key Highlights:
* Finding the courage to step into the unknown when there is no pre-written path
* Understanding that being global is about seeing the world through different eyes, not just collecting countries on a map
* A powerful challenge for the inaugural class: to make the choice right rather than just trying to prove it was right
