On July 2nd 2023, the CEIBS Global EMBA hosted its second annual symposium, providing a very welcome return to live events after the years of pandemic-related disruption. Bringing together nearly 300 CEIBS current students, alumni, faculty members as well as guest panellists and speakers, this event gave everyone in attendance the chance to consider how China will adapt to the new economic realities of the post-covid world.

Covering subjects as diverse as brand development in China, sector-specific innovation methods and the role of international collaboration in promoting stability, the symposium presented a snapshot of the key issues, challenges and opportunities China faces right now as it settles into its expanding global role.

CEIBS Distinguished Professor Dominique de Villepin and Vice President and Dean Frank Bournois came together on the Shanghai campus today for an insightful dialogue to discuss how nations of every size and region must concentrate on the necessity of building cultural bridges between both their friends and their occasional rivals.

Case publishing helps business knowledge find its way into classrooms across the globe to be passed down to future business leaders. However, many aspects of this practice often go unnoticed by educators and students who engage with the case method.  Recently, the Case Center at China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) and their Director, Professor Shimin Chen had a conversation with Ivey Publishing and shared unique insights into case development and publishing at the CEIBS Case Center, discussed trends in Chinese cases, highlighted opportunities and successes, and shared their vision for chinacases.org to become the most influential China case library globally.
